The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a data protection and privacy law for individuals in the European Union. The GDPR was adopted in April 2016, and became enforceable on May 25, 2018. The GDPR gives individuals greater control over how their personal data is collected and processed.
Our commitment to GDPR compliance
The Intervals team has always made it our priority to protect our customer's data. Not because it's a box we need to check off, but because we put our customers, and their data, first. It has always been our mantra that that "your data is your data," we simply provide the platform for processing said data.
How we prepared for GDPR compliance
While our software was mostly GDPR compliant already, we made changes to ensure that your data is protected:

- Trained support team on responding to data requests.
- Revised our terms of service to explain exactly what data we collect and how we use it.
- Revised our data collection methods to ensure that consent is clearly given.
