It would be good to be able to configure a message to automatically be emailed to a task raiser when an item arrives in the request queue (either from an email or raised directly in Intervals). This could be used for a thank you message and to provide estimated response times and escalation procedures.
These could potentially even be specified per-project (different SLAs) and by time of day (out of hours support number).
We can do these in gmail for anything raised by email, but that doesn't cover tasks raised directly.
