Document Support

John Reeve | November 21st, 2006 | , ,

We started architecting document support and we are excited about where it is going. We are layering in the new database tables, data access objects, models, and actions. This next feature is really going to tie the app together.
Some of the things you can expect to see when we launch document support:

  • Basic document versioning; know who updated a document and when they updated it.
  • Assign documents to tasks; give your users more than just descriptions and notes for completing tasks.
  • Tag documents for easier searching and retrieval; because it would be silly not to have tags.
  • Document tab for finding all your documents in one place; a flexible document repository means less hassle when trying to find those copy updates at 3am.

So stay tuned. This next feature is going to be a good one!
