From the very start, before any code was written, we decided Intervals would be a chance for us to refine our philosophy of lightweight ; time and task tracking coupled with reporting and . We’d done the heavy lifting in the past, using microsoft project, wallpapering our office with Gantt charts, allocating resources; it was just too much.

As we continue to build Intervals, we are focused on refining and improving our vision of lightweight . Task tracking is a crucial component, communicating responsiblities to a team and keeping them accountable. against those tasks, and projects in general, quantifies efforts into billable and unbillable work. Reporting ties it all together, like the dude’s rug, providing a summary or a detailed synopsis of the business flow. translates data into revenue, rounding out the workflow of any project.

That’s eight years of managing projects as a small businesses, in a nutshell. Intervals is ideal for professionals who require a similar workflow, or looking to adapt a proven workflow to their own business.
